Create an Online Presence

There are many ways to get an online presence these days. There are many ways to do free too!  There are many places on the world wide web that offer free site hosting or free blogs. There are also some ways that are low cost, like self hosted word press blogs. No matter which way you choose to go, make sure that you stay at it.  There are a number of sites were you can get tips on blogging like www.problogger.net  or another one I follow is Gary Vaynerchuk author of Crush It! http://garyvaynerchuk.com  Then there is Yaro Starak to check out also. They all have made money online with blogs in different ways. Gary uses video, which is very easy to do with a Flip-video and many other cameras. I recently purchased a Flip-video and I am looking forward to doing some video blogs soon. This will help you get started on the right track. I would also recommend you read Crush It and Problogger.

Have ever felt like there is never enough time for your family? What would you do if you had unlimited time and money? What would you do or where would you go? Who would you spend it with? These are a few question have asked myself over the years. That started to get me to look for something better, to get me the time and financial freedom that I was looking for.

Find a Mentor

Find a mentor to coach you through it. I know when I started my first home business many years ago. I didn't have a mentor or anyone to help me to learn the ropes. I learned the hard way by trial and error. I failed miserably at it too, but I never gave up on the idea of success with a home based business. I have searched high and low for the right company and the right system. Well I can tell you I never found it, until I started to grow personally. Yes I found many mentors on audio recordings. One of them was the late Jim Rohn. When someone gave me my first cd to listen to, that changed my life forever. I believe it may have been a training cd of Orrin Woodward. That sparked the fire to become a better me, so that I could truly help others. There are many great mentors out there, some may no longer be with us, but the left their teachings in books and in audio recordings. Also in the lives they have touched. This may not guarantee your success but it will put you on track to become successful in life. Start by being more than average in life, be Unaverage. The Unaverage Average

Journey To Success

Becoming successful is a journey. No matter what you do in life. True success comes from personal growth. For many years I just floated through life. I was looking for more than what I had, but didn't know how or were to find it. I hated my job and living paycheck to paycheck. I had more month than money. I tried several business ideas. Some that I found on late night TV infomercials and other online. Some of these worked for a short time, but I didn't have the tools to be successful. The first piece of the puzzle was my employer offered many classes to improve me. One of these was the Dale Carnegie training course. This was the start my journey to a better me. Then a few years later I was introduced into a training system that sent me audios to listen to and a book a month to read. I also attended seminars and other events. These brought me to were I am today. I have listened to many trainers since, like Jim Rohn, Les Brown and Dani Johnson and many others. The greatest expense in business is not in a product or service you offer, it is the investment in YOU. No matter what you do when you invest your money and time to become a better you. The world will change around you. The world is waiting and in need of people like you that will invest in themselves to be the person God intended you to be. There is Greatness in YOU!

Home Based Business

Many people are looking into or starting a home based business. There are many reasons why. This is a growing trend. The economy isn't doing well to put it lightly. Many have found themselves unemployed and unable to find a job. No matter what you choose to start. Take the time to look into the company and person that has introduced this idea to you. What do they have in place to help you be successful. I know from past experience that sometimes it is hard to get help when you need it, because the person you joined with is just to busy signing up more people. If that is the case, I would look at something else. I have always been able to find the help I needed, if I looked and asked questions long enough. Next time we will look into funded proposals as a way to fund a home business.

Working for Success for ALL

Like many who started working online. I found it trying and difficult to get others to do the same things I was doing. There was no teamwork, because we all need to get our own sign ups. I have looked into lots of programs, as a way to fund all my online programs. The goal was to have as little out of pocket expense as possible. To help more people have success in a short amount of time. It still does take some time, but it is far less costly than being on your own. To have a team working together for the success of all is an awesome concept. Watch for more on this in the near future as I learn more and share more on how it is working for many! God Bless!

Many are called, few are chosen

Many are called, few are chosen.  What does this mean to you?  To me it means God has called many to be chosen, but many don't hear the call.  They may also have heard but live below they abilities in life. They can't see what God sees.  Many are like Hosea said " My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..." (Hosea 4:6)
That looks like what is happening in America today.  Many have been spending to much time in front of the television set.  Instead of reading a book that could help you grow.  We could also use this time to pray and meditate on Gods word.  The is a need for a move of God in this land, and awakening to Gods Spirit.
We need to be seeking God  for His plan for us!

Changing Times

As America continues to change. The economy in a tail spin. Many have lost their homes and their dreams. Where does one turn? Some turn to their faith, while others wait on the government  to fix the problems of the day. There is another group that are starting their own business's. Some have started traditional and others have chose to start a network marketing business. Which offer a low start up cost. ( usually between 500 to a 1000. dollars, this includes sales tools etc.)  Many of these network marketing companies are having record growth. There is a couple things one must remember about these opportunities, they take time usually 2-5 years to build. ( yes some have done it in less time ) The one thing I found in this industry you must use the product or service your company offers, and become a product of the product. This will give you a product story, as you go out and share it with others. Many have done this, some have replaced their income and others supplement they incomes. I had a friend say this to me, " find a product or a service that you would use even if you were not getting paid from it."

When Will You Change?

When will you change? Will it be when the Doctor give you the bad news about your health. Will it be your boss that says we no longer need you? I am amazed at the number of people that just go with the flow in life. Many seem to have no goals to reach for more. The biggest thing maybe fear of success, or being laughed at if they fail. Is there something holding us back? We all need a little courage, because we all have chance to be what we dreamed we could be! No one can hold you back but you.
Here is what I heard Jim Rohn say "If you will change, everything will change for you"

Are you bringing out the best in your team? I was inspired by my devotion this morning. Many companies fail to do this these days. The employee is simply there for the pay check that is their only reward. There used to be a relationship between the employer and the employee, it is rare to find these days. The successful organization does things different. They not only receive a paycheck, but they are nurtured by the people they work for. When you nurture your team you will unlock their full potential. How do you do this? This what John Maxwell said in my devotion
I use the "BEST" acronym as a reminder of what people need when they get started with my organization. They need me to . . .
Believe in them
Encourage them
Share with them
Trust them
When you follow these you will bring out the best of each person on your team and help them become the leaders of the future. Get out there and start nurturing your team and you will build a successful one. We should also use this when raising children, because they are the leaders of the future!

Health Care Reform?

Health care reform seems to be a hot topic these days. With President Obama pushing his brand of reform to get passed. What is this reform going to bring us? Will it change the health crisis that we face in America today? True reform must come in all areas of life. The food we eat has little nutritional value, that once had. Our water supply is full of toxins. We have become an obese nation. The government subsidizes the food industry. This I believe is part of the problem. What should be done is to subsidize the American people to buy the wellness products of their choice. This I believe will lower health care cost and make it affordable for everyone. By making healthier choices and choosing to give our bodies the nutrition it needs, we will live a long and healthier life.

No matter what you believe about this will not matter unless you make healthier choices for yourself and especially your children. I have seen several reports that say our children will not out live their parents. The choice is simple, but not easy. There are many supplements on the market to choose from. When I choose supplement I look for one that is all natural with little or no fillers. I prefer capsules over tablets. I have learned that when pressed into tablets, it generates heat and it can change the formulation. These may cost a little more, but in the long run the higher the quality the better the results. There are many companies that will pay you to refer others to their products. Some have been able to pay for their products this way. This is the only true way to fix the health care crisis in America, is to take charge of our lives by making better choices. Prevention now will save you thousands of dollars later.
Take care of your health and don't lose it by chasing after wealth!

Changing Times

Times have changed since our parents and grand parent went into the work force. In many cases they were able to retire after their years of service with benefits. That doesn't happen anymore more and more companies no longer have a retirement plan. Everyday I see how this effects those who did retire and can't live off what they receive. Many have had to go back to work to supplement their retirement. This is sad! The government and the companies have failed to keep their promises to these people. The 40-40 plan is dead, no longer can you go to work for one company and retire with benefits. The average person will work for a number of companies these days. Where does one find solutions to this growing problem? I believe we must do like Les Brown talks about being bold and taking risks. Stop playing safe!

Time to Change

Time To Change

It is time to change! There has never been a time when I have seen so many opportunities to grow in many ways. We can change our thinking to become healthier, wealthier and wiser. The Bible refers to this as renewing your mind and being transformed. When we learn new things we renew out thoughts and change the way we think. This doesn't mean you must go back to school. Read books on topics like leadership, personal development, and yes spiritual development. Maybe attend a seminar or a study group on one these topics. The bottomline is we must change, because we are the ones that must rise up and save this Nation. When we change our thinking, we will find ways to solve the problems our Nation is in.

Can you afford to wait? I know I couldn't, so I started working on my own bailout! I started a home business, many are doing it these days. There are many benefits, more family time and more.

Work from Home?

So you are looking to work from home? Where do you start and get the information to help you make and choose the right opportunity for you? The information is everywhere, but you may have to dig for some of it. I have heard many say that MLM or Multi Level Marketing is a scam. Many of those same people have never even looked into one of these opportunities themselves that is just what they have heard. Some of them may have taking a stab at it, but had no success. Many times it takes time to really get going, like two to five years. I have heard many phases over the years but this one really struck me, "Work it like a job, until you can treat it like a business." I found this to be a great help. Here are a couple things to help you get started research the company before you join. The second is do they have system to follow, one that helps you learn what you need to do to be successful. The call to Leadership

The call to leadership is made throughout the Bible. Let us look at the creation of man.

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth . . ." Genesis 1:26 (NIV)

God is the ultimate leader. and calls every believer to lead others. How do we all lead? By being different and by making a difference. God created man for great things to do. At the fall of man when sin entered the garden. God could have started over, but He chose not to. So how do we lead others? By our actions or what we say and do. Have you ever done something for someone else without being asked to, you know gone out of the way to do something? That is an example for others around you to follow. Do you also have a kind or encouraging words when talking to people about others. When you speak well of others and encourage them. These are examples of leadership because you are leading by example. Look how God used various leaders throughout the Bible, like Abraham, Moses and Joshua to name a few.

Every time God desired to do something great, He called a leader to step forward. Today He still calls leaders to step forward for every work-both large and small.
